It’s Time to Update Your Google Sheets Scenarios

Last year, around this time, we developed a new Google Sheets app, giving it the very apropos name of Google Sheets app v2. And, its time for you to absolutely update your scenarios.

The v2 supports the latest Google Sheets API v4, has double the number of modules as the last, and lets you manually map the sheet in relevant modules. Oh, and there is this new INTEGROMAT() function that allows you to perform a function in Integromat and input the result back into the sheet! Cool, huh?

So why do you need to update your scenarios to the Google Sheets app v2 from the legacy app (v1) as soon as possible?

Google is beginning to shut down the Sheets API v3 starting April 9th, 2020. Since our Google Sheets legacy app (v1) uses v3 of the Sheets API, it will stop working once the API is shut down. Therefore, please replace all modules from the legacy app with modules from the new Sheets app (v2) to avoid disrupting your scenarios.

As we know, Google can be unpredictable, so we would suggest updating ASAP to be on the safe side.

We also want to make this process as easy as possible for you. To do that, we created a step-by-step guide showing how to replace legacy modules with the new ones, hope you find it useful!

Happy Google Sheets Automating!
